This painting is inspired by 'the gates of hell' of Auguste Rodin.
I tried to express the faces full of troubles and exhaustion of people living in a chaotic world.
For Rodin, behind the door the hell began.
But, in this painting, the door opens to a bright light ... The light is hope, love, truth.
Why did I come into this world?
What will become of me after my death?
Is there a limit to the universe?
What is love?
Who am I? What moves me?
What would I do with my life?
It's important to find answers to each question.
Pray to find the door to the light, rather than the door to deception, through a tortuous path.
Ask and you shall receive.
Seek, and ye shall find.
Knock and the door will be opened (Matthew VII, 7)
'As there is shade, there is also light.
And he who climbs out of the shadow understands the importance of light.'
Takiji Kobayashi. Japanese writer.
