Ending his destiny

Postwar Japan, based on merit and efficiency, has become a very rich country. However, in this society of production, values such as efficiency, simplistic and superficial, have become the reference.

And we judge ourselves according to this effectiveness.

I knew an elderly lady who said: "It is no longer worth living; I am not useful anymore now."

What is the reality of life?

The dignity of life does not change even if the body declines.

The model used for this painting is an old lady of 90 years old. Since her husband died when she was young, she had to raise her six children alone.

When I drew these hands, I imagined these same hands doing every morning the Obento for the six children. These are beautiful hands.

The important thing for everyone is not the physical condition, but to have people accepting you and pushing you to be yourself.

You want to know if you are loved, but think carefully about how you feel your own existence.

More than just a beautiful place it is the heart of the host that provides the warmth of the welcome. It would be so nice to be able to communicate heart to heart, respecting each other, and then ending his life in a peaceful and happy way, like a divine grace.

After experiencing joys and sufferings, the soul, gathering all the experiences, can receive death gladly. That's what I think.
